Builders Association of India, Kerala Centre has been awarding the Gold Medal to the best final year student of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering, Trivandrum every year.
This medal known as the “PRS Memorial Gold Medal” is sponsored by Er. R. Murugan, Managing Partner, PRS Builders and Chairman PRS Group, in memory of his late father, Er. P. Ratnaswamy. Er.P.Ratnaswamy, fondly known as PRS , was the founder Chairman of the Kerala Centre of the Association. He was also a student of the College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
In the year 2019, the award winner was Ms. Dona Maria, who has scored 9.84 GPA in all the semesters. She is the d/o of Mr.Tomy Anthraper from Allappuzha.
During the Builders’ Day celebrations conducted on December 12th 2019 at Hotel South Park Trivandrum, Chief Guest, BAI National President Mr.Sachin Chandra and Sri.R.Murugan, Chairman PRS Group, jointly handed over the PRS Memorial Gold Medal to Ms. Dona Maria.
